The First Home for the Dying In Albuquerque

New Mexico adobe style, north entrance to 708 Tijeras--we can't wait to paint the outside with Inhora turquoise, red, and gold!

Like you, we’ve believed in the possibility of better healthcare for those who need it most at the end of life. And, like you, we’ve doubted if we could make a difference. But now, you’re part of something historic:

A house that will become the first social model hospice home in our community.

Immaculate Conception Church has leased to us 708 Tijeras Ave. NW in Downtown Albuquerque. They are generously cutting the monthly rent in 1/2 for the 1st 3 months, then come January 1 we’ll pay $2400 monthly (impressively lower than the actual rental value around $5000). Some of it’s features of the home include (the pictures don’t do justice):

  • Large communal living area

  • A quiet chapel

  • Beautiful backyard

  • Plenty of parking space including reserved spaces for accessibility, with special thanks to Tony with Premium Parking for donating lot-space!

South backyard, patio with a benchswing, large mulberry tree, and fake grass :)

Kitchen area is it's own enclosed space, needing renovation, new appliances, and will have a three-sink set up to meet regulations.

Living and dining areas, larger than it appears with more space to the right (East). The home will be unfurnished upon lease.

Picture of the Premium Parking lot facing North towards the home that is the highlighted adobe structure with wood fencing in front.
